Once upon a long time ago, when I was little, I would keep my felt tips in colour order, laying down pretty lines of rainbow patterns. When I was medium (a teenager) I made furniture and clothes for my dolls (yep, sheltered!) and curtains for my bedroom. Now I am big I still make stuff because it is both grounding and energising.
My heart smiles when I see a 1960s children’s book or my Granny’s sewing box; reminding me of childhood days. Confident colour combinations, bold and graphic design, optical illusions, delicate detail and repetition make life worth living!.
I live with my beguiling boys, my fab fella, a delicate wuss of a whippet and a dignified cat (she’s really sorted).
My passions include cards and wrap, coastal towns; Staithes, Mevagissey, Southwold, vintage tea tins, lovely fabrics, typography, garden flowers, cats and dogs, books and long walks. Oh, and I quite like lists too!
